GNOME Do is an open source Linux program launcher originally created by David Siegel, inspired by Quicksilver, primarily for the GNOME desktop environment. Its purpose is to provide a searchable index of files, bookmarks, programs and actions that can be performed on them. It remembers past searches to sort items by relevance. Most of the functionality of GNOME Do is provided by plugins, which are separated into "official" and "community" sections.

Version 0.8 introduced the "Docky" theme[1], which allows Do to act as a dock. It has been announced that Docky will become a separate application from GNOME Do in the future.[2]
